Dilip sparkles

Mysore: Medium-pacer C. Dilip hogged the limelight with a spell of four for seven inclusive of a hat-trick and earlier a crucial 31 that helped Abhinava Bharathi High School, Mandya, register a 73-run win over JSS High School (Saraswathipuram), Mysore and sail into the semifinals in the ACUK Mysore Forum’s School cricket tournament here on Wednesday.

The scores (quarter-finals): Abhinava Bharathi HS (Mandya) 136 for seven in 25 overs (M.L. Vishal 45) bt JSS (S’puram), Mysore 63 in 18.1 overs (C. Dilip four for seven); Rotary High School (N’gud) 131 in 25.2 overs (Rakshith four for 18) lost to St. Joseph’s HS (State) 134 for three in 22.3 overs (Shreyas 68 n.o.).
