Issue of ration cards from July 21

ADILABAD: The process for the issue of new ration cards and the conversion of the existing ones in the district will begin on Thursday with the sale of application forms at all mandals. As the permanent DPL centres at all divisional headquarters will go operational on July 20, the issue of cards will start the next day. Addressing a press conference here, Adilabad Joint Collector G. Ravi Babu said as the income limit for eligibility for white cards have been raised to Rs. 75,000 in urban and Rs. 60,000 in rural areas, people can go for conversion of their existing pink cards.
