This has reference to “Devotee of Koodiyattom,” a tribute to Guru Ammannur Madhava Chakyar, (FR, July 4).

First, the sayings connected with Ammannur Aattam does not pertain to this Ammannur but Madhava Chakyar’s uncle and teacher Ammannur Chachu Chakyar. Also Paimkulam Damodaran Chakyar, 66, is alive and healthy. He is not the one among the trio. It was his uncle and guru, the late Paimkulam Raman Chakyar who took the art outside the temple campus and abroad.
