Orissa keen on JKCs

HYDERABAD: The Orissa government has requested the State government and the Institute of Electronic Governance for help in setting up Jawahar Knowledge Centres (JKCs) and Special Training Programmes (STP) to train students. A delegation of senior officials led by the State’s Higher Education Commissioner Pradeepta Kumar Mahopatra, IT department head A.K. Panda, visited the city to study the concept of JKCs and STPs instituted by the Institute of Electronic Governance.
