Dasmunsi discharged from hospital

KOLKATA: Union Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi was discharged from a city hospital on Thursday, 11 days after he was admitted there for chest pain.

A hospital bulletin said his condition was stable and he was recovering well after timely intervention with angiography and primary angioplasty.

He had been suffering from acute coronary syndrome.The All-India Institute of Medical Sciences and the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital would take up follow-up medical care, hospital sources said.

Mr. Dasmunsi had heart attack-like symptoms after attending a meeting in Malda district and was airlifted to Kolkata.
