Probe into firing

CHENNAI: The District Revenue Officer has appealed to those having knowledge about the police encounter in which P. Suresh alias Baba Suresh of Korukkupet was killed on July 7 to provide information.

The enquiry into the firing would be held on August 19. Those willing to provide information could file an affidavit before 5 p.m. on August 9 in the office of the DRO, No. 62, Rajaji Salai, ‘Singavelar Maligai’, according to an official release.
