Two killed as tipper rams autorickshaw

HYDERABAD: Two persons were killed after the autorickshaw in which they were travelling was hit by a tipper at AOC Centre in East Marredpally on Thursday.

The deceased persons were identified as Ramesh Kumar (45) and his son Arun Kumar (22) of Sainagar in Neredmet. Their relatives – Chakrapani and Ramesh -- escaped with minor injuries.

The accident occurred when Chakrapani along with his relatives was going to Rajendranagar to attend the selection for sub-inspector posts. Chakrapani, a native of Krishna district, came to Ramesh Kumar’s house two days ago to participate in the selection. Police registered a case of negligence against the tipper driver and took him into custody.
