Polaris reports higher profit

CHENNAI: Polaris Software has reported consolidated revenue of Rs. 316.98 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2008, against Rs. 257.45 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, a growth of 23 per cent. The profit after tax has risen by 87 per cent to Rs. 27.01 crore from Rs. 14.42 crore. The board has appointed Arup Gupta as Executive Director from July 17, says a release.
