2 held with liquor

KULITHALAI: Prohibition Enforcement Wing personnel seized 20 bottles of liquor meant for sale in other States from two persons who had made a business selling the liquor.

Police said S. Noor (37) of Peralamman Koil Street, Kulithalai, and L. Anand (41) of Sengadu in Villupuram district were arrested with 20 bottles of liquor meant for sale in states other than Tamil Nadu during a vehicle search near the Periapalam here.

They were produced before the Judicial Magistrate, Kulithalai, who remanded them to 15 days custody.
