Bank to have two more branches in Goa

PANAJI: Karnataka Bank Ltd. will open two more branches in Goa as part of its expansion plan. Anantha Krishna, Chairman of the bank, disclosed this at a function organised to inaugurate the office premises of the bank at Porvorim in north Goa on Friday.

While Chief Minister Digambar Kamat inaugurated the new premises, Raul N. Gonsalves, Archbishop Patriarch Emeritus of Goa-Daman Archdiocese, inaugurated the money plant ATM facility.

Mr. Krishna said that the bank, which came into existence 85 years ago, had a network of 433 branches in the country. In Goa, the bank had its branches at Panjim, Ponda, Margao, Sanguem and Porvorim. V.N. Manohar, Deputy General Manager, welcomed. Chengappa K.K., Branch Manager, proposed a vote of thanks.
