PCB warning to industries

Kakinada: The Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) has given 30 days time for parboiled rice mills, stone crushing units and other industries to install effluent treatment plants. If they fail to do so, penal action would be taken under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, according to a press release by APPCB environmental engineer R. Lakshmi Narayana.
