Congress leader dead

KOCHI: K.G. Moosa Manikfan, 58, president of the Lakshadweep Territorial Congress Committee and AICC member, died here on Friday morning. He had been admitted to a city hospital following chest pain after arriving from Kavaratti last week. The body was flown to his home island Minicoy by the Lakshadweep administration’s helicopter and buried late in the evening.– Special Correspondent
