Vishal Information to expand operations

CHENNAI: Vishal Information Technologies, engaged in the field of ITeS/BPO services, plans to expand its operations.

Addressing presspersons here on Friday, G. S. Chandrashekar, Director, said the company had expertise in four core lines of activities — data digitisation, e-publishing, digital library and print on demand.

It planned to buy an office space of 15,000 sq. ft. at special economic zone in Chennai besides setting up of quality assurance centre and marketing office in Mumbai.

Vishal also planned to establish subsidiary companies in the U.K. and U.S.

To part finance the cost of the proposed expansion plans, the company is entering the capital market on July 21 with a public offer of 17.90 lakh equity shares and an offer for sale of 10 lakh shares of Rs. 10 each through 100 per cent book building. The price band has been fixed at Rs. 140-150 per equity share.
