Chennai Petroleum net doubles in Q1

CHENNAI: Chennai Petroleum Corporation (CPCL) has posted a net profit of Rs. 703.27 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2008, against Rs. 323.15 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Total income has increased to Rs. 11263.33 crore from Rs. 6302.18 crore. — Corporate Reporter
