Water supply may be affected

CHENNAI: Chennai Metrowater proposes to take up interconnection work at Southern Head Works near Valluvar Kottam from 8 a.m. on Monday to 2 p.m. on Tuesday as part of the water supply improvement work.

As a result, piped water supply would be affected in Alwarpet, T.Nagar, Nandanam, C.I.T.Nagar and Saidapet. Residents are requested to store sufficient water in advance, according to a press release.
