Gangavaram issues reviewed

VISAKHAPATNAM: Collector Sanjay Kumar told officials concerned on Friday to quickly solve the pending issues like payment of compensation, provision of facilities, etc. regarding rehabilitation of villagers of Gangavaram, who were displaced due to construction of port near the village.

At a meeting held with the officials and port’s V-P Bh. A. Rama Raju, director Suryaprakasa Rao, IRAS Special Secretary Brahmananda Reddy, Assistant Director of Fisheries Yakoob Basha,officials of Panchayati Raj, APTransco and others, Mr. Sanjay Kumar discussed the pending issues.
