Pursue cases vigorously: Minister

CHENNAI: The civil supplies administration has been advised to pursue vigorously cases filed under the Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, according to Food and Civil Supplies Minister E.V. Velu. Addressing a meeting here on Friday to review the working of the Civil Supplies CID wing of the department, he said 8,391 cases were pending. — Special Correspondent
