Avtar stars in Khalsa’s win

HYDERABAD: Avtar Singh (94 not out) helped Khalsa CC beat Nizam College by six wickets in the ‘A’ division two day matches league cricket championship on Friday.

‘A’ division (two-day) matches:

Nizam College 161 (B. Ashutosh Kumar 53, Mohd. Liaquat Ali 45, Irfan four for 43) lost to Khalsa 162 for four (Avtar Singh 94 not out).

Ours CC 115 (Ather four for 55) lost to Kings XI 116 for two (Ameenuddin 46 not out).

Matches postponed

All HCA matches scheduled to be held at Secunderabad Parade grounds from July 20 to 25 have been postponed due to non availability of grounds.
