Ninety years young: Anti-apartheid icon and the former South African President, Nelson Mandela, with his grandchildren at his home in Qunu on Friday on his 90th birthday which was celebrated by his family and the whole village. He used the occasion to call for renewed action on poverty. “Poverty has gripped our people. If you are poor, you are not likely to live long,” he said.
