Research centre inaugurated

CHENNAI: A Centre for Automotive Research and Engineering has been launched on the Vel Tech campus as part of a colloboration between Vel Tech and Satyam Venture Engineering Services.

Vel Tech Chairman R. Rangarajan and CEO of Satyam Venture Engineering Services Rao S. Vadlamudi signed a memorandum of understanding earlier this month for the collaboration to further research in automotive engineering. It would provide opportunities to mechanical engineering students in project works, facilitate industry interaction and train students of Vel Tech Colleges in hard and soft skills and involve faculty and students in consultancy.
