‘Chaitanya yatra’ from today

VIZIANAGARAM: The district unit of the CPI(M) will conduct ‘praja chaitanya yatra’ from July 20 to August 15. During the period, party leaders in each mandal will interact with people and receive representations from them.

Activists will also picket tehsildar offices from August 2 to 5 in protest against irregularities in Indiramma houses, denial of R&R package to project-displaced families, supply of water to Jindal from Thatipudi reservoir project, etc., said M. Krishna Murty, party secretary.
