Parties close to TDP will sink: Devender Goud

KARIMNAGAR: Nava Telangana Praja Party (NTPP) founder T. Devender Goud said that the TDP was a sinking boat and whichever party moves close to it will become extinct.

Responding to a query on the reports about the TDP moving closer to TRS, he pointed out, “which ever party moves closer to TDP, they would be closed.” He said that the TDP was in confusion and on the brink of disaster.

Mr. Goud along with E. Peddi Reddy, who was on his way to Godavarikhani town on Saturday to participate in the Mahadharna programme to protest against the privatisation of Singareni Collieries Company limited, had a brief halt at the LMD guest house on the outskirts of Karimnagar town.

Talking to newsmen, he charged that the TDP was only delaying its stand on Telangana and making futile attempts with the constitution of a committee. “If they (TDP) were committed to Telangana, they should have disclosed their stand before we had come out of the party,” he noted.

Betrayal

Reiterating that the NTPP would strive to achieve Telangana statehood by involving all sections of society, especially the youth, he said that they would launch agitations against the betrayal and neglect of the Telangana region.

He said that they would launch an agitation against the SEZs creating pollution in Mahbubnagar district on July 24. He said that they would also participate in agitations in Medak and Nizamabad districts on August 2 and 3 respectively raising the local issues.
