Host teams come a cropper

BANGALORE: Host teams — Vijayanagar Club ‘A’ and ‘B’ — came a cropper against Bowring Institute and Bangalore City Institute, respectively in the Vijayanagar Club organised inter club cue sports tournament at the club premises here on Saturday.

The results: Bowring Institute ‘B’ bt Malleswaram Association ‘B’ 2-0; Bowring Institute ‘A’ bt Vijayanagara Club ‘A’ 2-0; KSBA ‘D’ bt Wood Rose Club 2-1; KSBA ‘C’ bt Malleswaram Association ‘A’ 2-1; Bangalore City Institute bt Vijayanagara Club ‘B’ 2-0; KSBA `B’ bt Vijayangara Club ‘C’ 2 –1.
