Baldwin Boys High School takes the honours

Bangalore: Baldwin Boys High School (BBHS) won the Father Eric Vaz Memorial hockey tournament for juniors. In the final, BBHS defeated St. Joseph’s Boys HS 3-0. P.M. Anup scored in the 25th minute and later S. Sait (28th) and Kangingam (42nd) also added to the tally.

SJBHS however had better luck in the centenary tournament for seniors as it won the Cup after defeating Bishop Cottons 3-0 in the final.

Vaishnav Murthy (11th), P.N. Abhishek (44th) and S. Abhay (57th) scored for the victor.

Vinay scalps five

S. Vinay bagged five wickets and helped National High School defeat Shantiniketan Trust by 97 runs in a Boost Cup under-16 inter-school tournament match here on Saturday. National HS scored 158 in 28.2 overs and bundled out Shantiniketan Trust for 61 in 16.5 overs.

New Fort HS 164 in 24 overs (Satish 64) lost to Sri Aurobino Vidyamandir 165 for six in 23.3 overs (Madhan 49).

Carmel HS 191 for five in 30 overs (Naveen 70 n.o.) bt Triveni Mem. Edu. Trust 144 in 27.3 overs (Raghavendra 56).

St. Ann’s HS 100 in 16.2 overs (Gagan Reddy four for 23) lost to Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kolar 102 for four in 17.2 overs.

DPS 137 in 24.3 overs bt Lady Willington School 128 in 21.2 overs (Naveen 52, Srivatsa four for 13).

MS Ramaiah HS 225 in 29.5 overs (G.R. Abhishek 70, Karthik Raj 45) bt The Oxford Eng. School 126 in 19.2 overs.

St. Ann’s HS 104 in 29.5 overs lost to Little Flower Pub. School 108 for two in 14 overs (Deeraj 51).

Evershine HS 103 in 28 overs bt St. Ann’s HS 54 in 14.3 overs.

Seshadripuram BHS 161 in 26.4 overs (J. Sandeep Raj 64) bt Soundarya HS 152 for six in 30 overs (Hardik Patel 52).
