BJP demands white paper on ORR

HYDERABAD: BJP State president Bandaru Dattatreya on Saturday demanded that the government publish a white paper on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) project.

Speaking to media persons after inspecting the project site near Andhra Pradesh Police Academy at Moinabad, he alleged that the government was committing irregularities by frequently introducing changes to road alignment, land acquisition from farmers and amount earmarked for completion of the project.

He reminded that a CBI enquiry was ordered after opposition parties highlighted irregularities in the ORR project, but no action had been taken till date.
