18 booked on ragging charge

Kakinada: The police booked cases against 18 Intermediate students of the Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Residential College at A. Mallavaram in Rowthulapudi mandal on the charge of ragging Class 10 students, which led to the fleeing of 74 students on July 13. The students were harassed and beaten up allegedly by the seniors who were reportedly habituated to rude behaviour in the absence of any disciplinary action.
