Hundreds of Muslims gather at Mahabubsagar canal in Sangareddy

SEEKING DIVINE INTERVENTION: The special prayers in progress in Sangareddy on Sunday.

Sangareddy: Muslims offered special prayers for rains at the partially dried Mahabubsagar canal here on Sunday.

The special namaz organized by the local Muslim clergy was attended by the Superintendent of Police Mohammad Iqbal and municipal vice-chairman Jaleeluddin Baba.

The prayer, attended by hundreds of Muslim brethren, was conducted by Hafiz Shafiq.

Message to people

Later, addressing the gathering, Nawaj Razzak Saab observed that the increasing evil tendency in the human nature was causing these problems.

He said kindness and humility are the two virtues through which on could please the god almighty. He urged every one to follow the righteous path so that good things would happen.
