PUDUKOTTAI: M. Adithyavardhan scored six points from as many rounds to win the under-8 title at the State-level chess tournament, conducted by Meenakshi Chess Centre, here on Sunday.

Final standings: Open (six rounds): 1. R.P. Senthilkumaran (5), 2. N. Sasikumar (5), 3. K. Narayanan (5).

U-18 (five rounds): 1. B. Arul Senthil (4.5), 2. V. Parthiban (4.5), 3. K. Vairamuthu (4).

U-14 (six rounds): 1. B.P. Dinesh (5.5), 2. Mariyana Emimal (4.5), 3. R. Manoj Ram (4.5).
