A scooterist was knocked down by a speeding tipper on Prakasam barrage here on Sunday. A. Chinna Venkateswarlu, 48, a resident of Kethanakonda at Ibrahimpatnam near here was coming from Guntur on his two-wheeler when the truck hit him near 57th kana of barrage, according to One Town police.
