NARSARAOPET: A remand prisoner lodged in the sub-jail here, Pasumarthi Srinivasa Rao, died on Monday morning. According to the Jail Superintendent, the inmate was doing yoga with all others, when he suddenly had violent convulsions. The prison authorities rushed him to hospital where he died. The deceased, a habitual offender, was arrested on charges of theft. He had been in the jail for the past 10 days and showed no signs of illness, the jail authorities said.
