New number for reservation enquiries

CHENNAI: To standardise the National Enquiry System Phone No.139, recently introduced by Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), the “131’ call centre service for railway related enquiries is to be withdrawn from tomorrow (July 22). Passengers are requested to contact 139 for all reservation-related enquiries, according to an official press release. — Special Correspondent
