CHENNAI: Officials of the Air Intelligence Unit of the Customs at the Chennai airport seized 231 live ornamental fish from a passenger who arrived by a flight from Kuala Lumpur on Monday. K. Engineer, Joint Commissioner of Customs (Airport), said that when the officials searched the checked-in baggage of Mani Pakkirisamy, 38, they found the Arawona fish of varied sizes. They were packed in polythene bags filled with water and injected with oxygen.
