Newborn found abandoned

SALEM: A newborn female baby was found abandoned near the children ward in Salem Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College premises here on Monday night.

Conservancy workers in the hospital found the baby and admitted it in the ward. The hospital administration informed the police.
