Montfort posts win

NEW DELHI: Mayank (24) and Kishan (18) powered Montfort School to a 70-24 victory over Guru Harkrishan Public School (India Gate) in the junior boys section of the Columba’s Jindal inter-school basketball tournament at the St. Columba’s School here.

The results: Senior boys: Don Bosco 39 (Ankit 20, Prashant 15) bt Bal Bharti Public School (Pitampura) 14.

Junior boys: Montfort School 70 (Mayank 24, Kishan 18) bt Guru Harkrishan Public School (India Gate) 24; Dong Bosco 30 (Rohan 16, Ajay 10) bt Ahlcon Public School 14; Modern School (Barakhamba Road) 45 (Dhariya 15, Praj 13) bt Apeejay School (Saket) 25; St. Michael’s School 34 (Hatanshu 14, Vaibhav 11) bt Birla Vidya Niketan 19.
