Directive to scan centres

Kozhikode: District Medical Officer A. Baburaj has said that all scanning and imaging centres in the health sector in the district should register before appropriate authorities under the Pre-National Diagnostic Techniques (Regulation and Prevention of Misuse) Act. These centres should follow the stipulations spelled out under the Act. He was speaking at a meeting of the PNDT district-level appropriate committee here on Tuesday. The meeting decided to conduct checks at scanning and imaging centres. — Staff Reporter
