Action sought against A.P. Minister

HYDERABAD: Telangana Regional Development Board Chairman V. Purushotham Reddy has demanded disciplinary action against Andhra Pradesh’s Information Technology Minister R. Damodar Reddy for indulging in “groupism” in the Nalgonda district unit of the Congress.

Differences between the groups headed by Mr. Purushotham Reddy and Mr. Damodar Reddy reached a flashpoint after a clash between their supporters at a meeting in Nalgonda on Monday during the membership drive. A day after the clash, APCC president D. Srinivas, who is in New Delhi, directed the party observer for Nalgonda, Pitla Krishna, to submit a detailed report.
