Woman murdered

An unidentified woman in her mid-20s was found murdered at a secluded place off Pallavi Enclave road at Guttalabegumpet of Madhapur on Tuesday. The killers smashed her head with a boulder. Police believe the murder was committed on Monday night. They were clueless about the killers and motive behind the killing.

2 die in road accident

Two persons died and another escaped unhurt when the motorcycle they were riding rammed into a parked road-roller after skidding on the road near Deepthisri Nagar in Madhapur in the early hours of Tuesday. The victims were identified as Gurappa, a tailor and his friend, Nageswara Rao, a grocery store owner. Both were in their mid 30s. Sanjeeva Rayudu, on the pillion behind them, escaped unhurt.

Two labourers die

Two labourers died and two more sustained serious injuries after falling from the rafters erected at the construction site of a multi-storied building at Nizampet in Dundigal police station area on Tuesday. The victims hailed from Ongole district.
