Group-I Mains to be as per schedule in A.P.

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission has decided to go ahead with the conduct of the Group-I Mains examinations, slated to begin from August 7, as per schedule.

At an emergency meeting convened to discuss the implication of the Andhra Pradesh High Court’s latest judgment asking the State Public Service Commission to follow the 1:50 ratio in all categories for selecting candidates for the Mains, it was opined that the judgment could not be implemented.

Up to standing council

It was, therefore, decided to approach the standing council of the Supreme Court seeking a solution.
