Bail granted

Kochi: The Ernakulam Sessions Court on Wednesday granted bail to Saifudeen Alikannu, the second accused in cheating case filed by an NRI woman. Self-styled god man Santhosh Madhavan is the first accused. The court ordered that the second accused be released on bail on his executing a bond for Rs.1 lakh. He should also surrender his passport in the court and appear before the investigating officer once in a week. — Special Correspondent
