New grab handles in RTC buses

Hyderabad: Ever felt that the grab handles in city buses are not user-friendly? Situation would now change with the RTC planning to introduce a new model of grab handles that could help the standing passengers. These handles would also help the RTC rake in revenue through advertisements.

According to P. V. D. Jayasankara Prasad, Corporation’s Executive Director, each of the 2,950 buses operated in the city, will have 22 rectangular plastic grab handles. Buses with these new handles may roll out earliest by September.
