Chennai: Playback singers S.P. Balasubrahmanyam and S.P. Sailaja sang several numbers, both melodious and peppy, at a light music show at The Music Academy recently.

The show – organised by Educomp, a firm that develops smart learning content – was dedicated to the spirit of learning. Educationists and teachers were among the audience.

Actor Y. Gee. Mahendra compered the show. Arun Kumar Rath, School Education Secretary, Ministry of Human Resource Development, participated in the function.

A smart class music module, which is a synopsis of the origin and evolution of music, was released. Such modules teach students through multimedia clips, graphics, animations and 3-D images.

Teachers who employ the chalk and talk method of teaching could help their students learn more effectively by using the digital resources, a release from Educomp said.
