CHENNAI: A two-day international conference on mathematics and computer science will be organised by the Department of Mathematics, Loyola College, from Friday. College principal A. Albert Muthumalai said that about 200 mathematicians, including 25 international delegates, were scheduled to participate in the conference. It would deal with the problems and solutions in mathematics and computer science and also serve as a platform to discuss future research in both the fields. About 150 papers would be presented in the conference that would deliberate on common topics in mathematics and computer science, such as computer algorithms and functional analysis.
