‘1983 win responsible for change’

London: The 1983 World Cup hero Mohinder Amarnath feels that India’s “unexpected” triumph at the Lord’s had changed the face of cricket in the country. “Probably it was the biggest thing that has happened in Indian cricket. Probably it was a very unexpected victory but the country needed it badly,” Amarnath said. — PTI
