Akhil shines

NEW DELHI: An all-round performance by Akhil Goyal (38 and three for 15) helped Rajeev Sharma Academy to a seven-wicket victory over Mukhram Vidya Mandir Academy in the quarterfinals of the Ram Manohar Lohia Memorial cricket tournament at the Ramjas ground.

The scores: Mukhram Vidya Mandir Academy 124 in 37.3 overs (Abhishek Shokeen 52) lost to Rajeev Sharma Academy 126 for three in 23.3 overs.
