HYDERABAD: Widespread rain continued over the State under the influence of an active monsoon with half-a- dozen places getting heavy showers. More rains are in offing due to low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal off Orissa . Bhimgal, Mancherial , Peddapuram received a heavy rainfall of 8 cm each during the 24-hour period ending 8.30 a.m. Thursday.-Special Correspondent
