Ramadoss’ assurance to Sonia Gandhi

CHENNAI: Pattali Makkal Katchi founder S. Ramadoss on Thursday assured UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi that the PMK was ever willing to work together with the Congress.

Dr. Ramadoss who had telephoned the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Ms. Sonia Gandhi to congratulate them on the government winning the trust vote, assured her that the PMK would stand by the Congress and the UPA government.

Stress on unity

According to a press note from the PMK, during the conservsation, Ms. Sonia Gandhi underscored the need for maintaining unity and working together.
