CPI floor leader in Vijayawada Municipal Corporation general body P. Gowtham Reddy has asked the government to take necessary measures and help the family members of one-and-half year old boy, who died when a lorry overturned in Vambay colony.

Mr. Reddy said that the VMC shifted many families to Vambay colony area with a promise of providing houses to them.

Hence, they were living on road margins in Vambay colony, which resulted in the death of the boy.
