SRF first quarter net dips

CHENNAI: SRF, a leader in technical textiles, refrigerant gases and a preferred supplier of other fluorochemical products and polyester films, has recorded a 16 per cent growth in revenues at Rs. 471 crore during the first quarter of 2008-09, against Rs. 405 crore during the corresponding period last year. The net profit has declined by 18 per cent to Rs. 46 crore mainly on account of exchange currency fluctuation. — Corporate Reporter
