Sports meet from August 7

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thruvananthapuram district Civil Services meet will be held on August 7 and 8. Competitions will be held in football, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, swimming, powerlifting, cricket, basketball, cycling, weightlifting and best physique.

Government employees (men and women) and teams who wish to take part in the meet should submit their entries through their respective head of the departments before 4 p.m. on August 5, according to a press release from the District Sports Council.
