Interim relief for power companies’ staff

NEW DELHI: An interim relief has been approved for employees of Delhi Transco and Indraprastha Power Generation Company.

The board of directors of the companies has decided to give 20 per cent of basic pay and dearness allowance as on January 1, 2006, payable from April 1, 2008. The Delhi Government has constituted a committee for revision of pay scales and allowances for employees of Delhi Transco, Indraprastha Power Generation Company, Pragati Power Corporation and Delhi Power Company.
